Role Summary:
The Lead Product Marketing Specialist executes the Marketing plan for GE Aviation – Digital Group. GE Aviation – Digital is the fastest growing business of GE Aviation operating at the convergence of two exciting industries – Aviation and Software. A key member of this product line’s and Marketing Team, this person collaborates with Commercial and Product Management teams to enable differentiated positioning to win share.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Execute the Marketing plan, aligned with business priorities
• Understand customer needs and user personas
• Write compelling content to position GE’s portfolio in a differentiated way
• Develop customer-facing and sales enablement collaterals (data sheets, case studies, white papers, customer presentations, internal messaging playbooks) in collaboration with creative agency
• Drive demand generation campaigns with broader Marketing team
• Support Product Management in launching new products or features
• Support participation at industry events and tradeshows and media coverage
Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College; MBA preferred
• Maximum 3 years of experience in Marketing / Product Management
Desired Characteristics:
• Experience with Aviation / Aerospace industry a plus
• GE leadership program candidates (CLP) preferred
• Flair for writing techno-commercial content
• Excellent communication and presentation (MS PowerPoint) skills
• Comfortable delivering results in an uncertain and complex environment in a matrix structure
• Quick learner, strong execution bias and interpersonal skills necessary for this individual contributor role
