This position helps participate in end-to-end business process activities - creating, controlling and improving business processes.  This individual position partners with stakeholders across the business (e.g., growth; end user, operations) to gather feedback and/or process performance information to identify and diagnose potential continuous improvement opportunities and share business roadmaps.   This position is also responsible for development and management of quality reporting and analytics related to business performance using excel and tableau. May assist in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of business process improvement projects.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Use pertinent data and facts to support the investigations for US customer EAP escalations

  • Communicate goals and progress on quality improvement projects to key stakeholders

  • Craft comprehensive remediation plans for individual customer escalations using knowledge of EAP quality improvement roadmaps

  • Identify emerging process improvement opportunities through escalation analysis

  • Analyze key stakeholders EAP issue data (Complaints, Appeals, Clinical escalations) to identify trends, and potential root causes (e.g., training issues; lack of understanding by user community) that point to quality improvement opportunities

  • Build manual reporting prototypes in excel for key operational business partners

  • Translate manual reporting prototypes into automated reporting needs. 

  • Aggregate monthly quality forum materials from multiple data sources including manual data, automated reporting, individual remediation actions, and business roadmaps. 

  • Become SME on US EAP member facing processes and identify associated risks and opportunities

Required Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree or 3+ years of business analysis experience

  • 2+ years of experience with business analysis and process improvement

  • 1+ years of specific experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts

  • 1+ years of experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience using tableau to conduct business analytics

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak and write clearly in customer facing materials

  • Experience with quality tools such as flowcharts, process maps

  • Analytics experience building histograms and pareto charts

  • Experience with customer survey tools and data

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $26.15 to $46.63. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $28.85 to $51.30. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Akar Ventures offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
