As a SEO Analyst you will be responsible for applying organic search best practices to Optum's many web properties. This position works within our new SEO strategic framework to ensure that ALL public-facing web content on our platform is optimized for search.  The SEO Analyst partners with writers and business stakeholders to align new content with best practices, business goals and the broader search strategy. They also conduct ongoing analysis of their portfolio of supported pages to keep Optum web properties up-to-date and performing optimally in organic search.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leverage tools like SEMRUSH and Google Search Console to compile organic search performance data to inform content recommendations
• Partner with segment stakeholders to fully understand their products, services, customers, and unique business objectives
• Stay informed of the latest trends in SEO
• Responsible for creating SEO content templates to guide new content creation that performs well in search at launch
• Merge analysis of available search data with segment knowledge to produce actionable SEO recommendations that drive continuous improvement of existing pages
• Present recommendations to segment stakeholders using available data to support analysis, cultivate awareness, drive consensus, and generate enthusiasm
• Partner with execution resource to establish timelines for the implementation of recommendations and address questions
• Accountable for the ongoing SEO performance of a portfolio of web pages
• Work within an agile marketing team to manage a backlog of prioritized tasks
• Champion SEO best practices within the enterprise

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
• 2+ year(s) experience in with SEO (includes analysis, recommendations, implementation)
• 2+ year(s) experience using Google Search Console, SEMRUSH or similar SEO reporting tools
• 1+ year(s) experience in digital marketing
• 1+ year(s) experience in the health care industry

Preferred Qualifications:       

• Comfortable delivering written, spoken, and presentation communications to both peers and senior level coworkers
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Data driven

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Akar Ventures offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
